I am a high school social studies teacher that is always looking to improve my teaching. This past year was my first full year teaching a paperless iPad classroom (aside from testing) in one of my classes, and next year I will be using it  for all five of my classes. While I am incredibly open-minded about using technology in the classroom, I find myself having a more conservative viewpoint about it than my other 1:1 teaching peers. I am not a proponent of project based learning or having student’s open a Twitter account, but that does not mean that it can’t be fun, engaging, and groundbreaking.

iPads, websites, Web 2.0, ebooks, and everything else aside, I am a teacher first.
